Having collaborated with NASA researchers on means of diverting Earth threatening asteroids, I improved existing theoretical models for the Solar Collector (SC), a solar based methos of asteroid diversion. With impact warning times measured in years, even a small SC could divert an asteroid several hundred meters across.
